Volunteer Opportunities 

 TYRO carries out many outreaches throughout  the year. Before contacting us about volunteer opportunities, please find out more on what we do, so that it may determine what you would best be able to contribute.

1. what volunteers are expected to do

 TYRO accepts selected volunteers from Uganda or abroad for a minimum two weeks, and preferably one month. Voluntary positions are open to individuals with strong experience and specific skills as identified with TYRO objectives.

  2. Application Date line

 Any Volunteer who is to participate in our outreaches , should apply a minimum of one month  before he/she comes.This will give us enough time to organise.

   3. Personal expenses

  Volunteers are required to pay all their expenses including transport costs, accomodation, meals etc.

  4. Volunteers are not paid; foreign volunteers should be fully self-funded, have adequate medical and life insurance.
